SPORTBUSINESS GROUP LAUNCHES CAMPUS 2006

SportBusiness Group is to introduce a new concept in learning-focused, sports sector conferences with the launch of Campus 2006 at the Cass Business School in the City of London on March 29-30, 2006.
Campus 2006 is an innovative and stimulating approach to conferencing which draws on 10 years experience of organising top level conferences and seminars for Sport Business' client community and on behalf of organisations including the International Olympic Committee.
It has been designed to address issues of cost and time commitment by offering a menu of subject-specific half day modules which embrace subjects ranging from next generation sports marketing to technology and tourism.
Each of the 17 modules will consist of insightful keynote addresses by sports sector thought-leaders, stimulating presentations based on hands-on experience, panel discussions and practical workshops.
Campus 2006 is priced to allow delegates to attend up to four modules across two days. Campus passes will be in the name of the company, allowing different delegates to different modules while allowing companies to take advantage of the incentive pricing structure.
"SportBusiness Campus 2006 has been developed in response to feedback from the industry," said Andy Rice of SportBusiness Group.

"We were consistently told that too many sports sector conferences locked delegates in to wide ranging programmes which were not entirely relevant to their needs. That inevitably made them appear expensive in money and time. Campus will combat this by allowing delegates to tailor the conference to more precisely meet their needs and the needs of their companies or organisations.

"The aim is to combine opportunities for stimulating debate with an opportunity for delegates to build their own knowledge by sharing the insights and experiences of acknowledged experts and developing and applying that knowledge during workshop sessions.

"Campus 2006 aims to be as inclusive as possible in its menu-based pricing and access policy. Every module stands alone but in aggregate we believe that they will deliver the best value sports business conference ever staged."
